Strategic Partnership with India's Largest Infrastructure Company: Composite Group Enters South Asian Market

Russian composite production technologies gain recognition in Delhi and Ahmedabad

Delhi – Ahmedabad, India – In July 2024, the Composite Group team undertook a strategic business trip to India, the results of which opened a new chapter in the company's international expansion. During the trip, 10 targeted meetings were held with Indian business representatives, foundations were laid for creating a joint venture, and a contract was concluded with one of the leading players in the country's infrastructure market.

Partnership with Indian Infrastructure Leader

The key result of the trip was negotiations with GRIL, India's largest infrastructure company. The cooperation was preceded by thorough preparation: GRIL technical specialists visited Composite Group's production facility in Chelyabinsk to study machine lines and technologies. The visit to GRIL's head office in Delhi and personal meeting with the company's CEO became a logical continuation of the technical audit.
The Indian side showed particular interest in Russian solutions after negative experience operating competitors' equipment. Following negotiations, the parties agreed on intentions for strategic partnership in equipment supplies and technology transfer. The agreements were implemented in practice: a contract was concluded for the supply of production equipment, the first phase of which has already been commissioned. GRIL expressed enthusiastic feedback about the quality and productivity of Russian machinery.

Production Localization and New Economic Model

As part of the business program, Composite Group representatives held negotiations on creating a joint venture in India and inspected a site for production placement. The planned JV will operate based on an innovative economic model developed by Composite Group specialists, ensuring effective interaction between Russian technologies and the Indian market.
The team also visited a machine-building plant to analyze possibilities for localizing machine line production directly in India. This will optimize logistics, reduce delivery times, and adapt equipment to local market specifics, creating long-term competitive advantages.
